Chōkō was born in 1941 in Nagasaki from the union of 29 master-soybean makers, eager to preserve their know-how while pooling production and distribution. Since then, the company has championed the artisanal production of soy and miso sauces, enhanced by state-of-the-art equipment, exemplary quality standards and a constant quest for the right taste. True to the spirit of "reviving the old to create the new", the company offers a wide range of reinvented traditional condiments, combining authenticity and modernity to enrich Japanese and international tables.
