Smoked and dried natural katsuobushi thick shavings with no additives, deeply umami taste.
They are made exclusively with wild bonito from certified responsible fishing. The bonito are then cut with knives, cooked, smoked and finally hot-dried with wood shavings, with no additives or colorants added.
The thick shavings of katsuobushi are ideal for making your own dashi, adding umami and depth to Japanese and non-Japanese dishes. You can also eat it in salads, carpaccio style, or with a little ponzu sauce, sashimi style.
