A premium coffee with unique floral notes, made from Geisha coffee beans, carefully roasted in Tokyo’s historic Fukagawa district and packaged in drip bags. Contrary to what its name might suggest, the Geisha coffee variety originates from the Gesha region in Ethiopia, from which it takes its name. It is renowned for its floral and fruity aromas. The Fukagawa district, founded in the 17th century at the beginning of the Edo period, was originally a fishing village that became an important center for river trade thanks to the Onagigawa River. During the Edo period, the district transformed into a renowned entertainment district, particularly known for its geishas. Today, it preserves an important cultural heritage, with several iconic sites that help recreate the unique atmosphere of the Edo period. Each drip bag is packaged in a pouch featuring a design with a Fukagawa geisha, in reference to the neighborhood’s history.
