Kirakira liqueur, produced by the Kitaoka Honten distillery in Nara, is made by infusing cherry blossoms, known as "Sakura" in Japanese, harvested at various elevations on Mount Yoshino, world-famous in Japan for its cherry trees. Exceptionally light, this liqueur offers a refined sensory experience, subtly infused with floral aromas from cherry blossoms and rose, as well as delicious fruity nuances such as strawberry, cherry and pomegranate. It can be enjoyed on its own to fully appreciate its delicate nuances or incorporated into smooth and delicate cocktails. Subtle aromas of cherry blossoms, rose and fruits such as strawberry, cherry and pineapple can be detected, along with more herbaceous notes of stems and damp leaves. Kirakira can be enjoyed as is, on the rocks or topped up with soda. It is also an interesting ingredient for cocktails, particularly gin-based ones.
