Founded in 1947 in the town of Sano, Tochigi prefecture, this family-run business started out producing traditional confectionery before specializing in cereal processing.
Cut 2 chicken thighs into bite-size pieces and coat with a mixture of 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sake, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon water and 1/2 tablespoon grated garlic. Let stand 15min. Cover with the flour mixture and fry in oil.
