A traditional Japanese soup prepared from a blend of miso, dashi broth and kombu seaweed. The miso used in this soup is made from wheat, which is stronger and saltier than rice miso. The soup is ready-to-use and can be reheated before serving. The taste is deep and rich, with umami notes from the miso and dashi. The texture is smooth and velvety, with bits of dried bonito in the broth. It can be eaten as is or used as a base for other dishes. It can be served hot or cold, and can be enhanced with a variety of ingredients such as vegetables, tofu or noodles.

More details on this product
George Ohsawa, a Japanese philosopher born in 1893, was at the origin of the macrobiotic movement. He sought to introduce the philosophy of ying and yang into the world of food, on the premise that good food could solve all ills. Based on the principle that forcing oneself to eat only healthy foods without taking pleasure in them would not allow one to adopt this diet forever, the Ohsawa group founded in 1945 extended his work by seeking to distribute only macrobiotic products that were both good for the body and the palate.
