A traditional Japanese soup made from a blend of miso, dashi broth, and kombu seaweed. The miso used in this soup is made from wheat, which is stronger and saltier than rice miso. The soup is ready to use and can be reheated before serving. It has a deep, rich flavor with umami notes from the miso and dashi. The texture is smooth and velvety, with pieces of dried bonito in the broth. It can be enjoyed as is or used as a base for other dishes. It can be served hot or cold and can be garnished with various ingredients such as vegetables, tofu, or noodles.

More details on this product

George Ohsawa, a Japanese philosopher born in 1893, was at the origin of the macrobiotic movement. He sought to introduce the philosophy of ying and yang into the world of food, on the premise that good food could solve all ills. Based on the principle that forcing oneself to eat only healthy foods without taking pleasure in them would not allow one to adopt this diet forever, the Ohsawa group founded in 1945 extended his work by seeking to distribute only macrobiotic products that were both good for the body and the palate.
