In celebration of Mother’s Day, pastry chef Yuka invites you to share a special, indulgent moment with a classic Japanese dessert: the strawberry roll cake.

Designed as an experience for parents and children to enjoy together, this workshop offers a relaxing break where you can take the time to create something together. With step-by-step guidance from the chef, you’ll learn the essential techniques for making a light and moist sponge cake, mastering the delicate art of rolling the cake, and then filling and decorating your creation with cream and fresh strawberries.

Beyond just learning, it’s above all a time for sharing: we mix, taste, help each other out, and laugh, all while creating a dessert together. Each pair will leave with their own roll cake, ready to enjoy at home, along with cherished memories and a few pastry tips to try out on their own.

A warm and welcoming workshop, suitable for all skill levels, perfect for celebrating Mother's Day with creativity and delicious treats.

Terms

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTC”) govern the terms and conditions for booking and participating in events, workshops, and experiences organized as part of the BIWAN Culture Club, offered by the BIWAN restaurant.

Any reservation implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Offered

The BIWAN Culture Club offers cultural and culinary events such as cooking and baking workshops, tastings, lectures, and themed evenings.

Each event is described in detail (content, duration, speakers, price, special conditions) and this information is provided at the time of booking.

3. Reservation and Payment

Reservations can be made through the channels specified by BIWAN (on the irasshai.co website)

Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your participation.

The reservation is considered final and binding once payment has been confirmed.

4. Rates

Prices are listed in euros, including all taxes.

BIWAN reserves the right to change its rates at any time, provided that the price charged is the one in effect at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by the participant:

  • Any cancellation made more than 7 days before the event will result in a full refund.
  • Any cancellation made between 7 days and 72 hours before the event will result in a 50% refund of the total amount.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event or for no-shows.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to BIWAN.

Cancellation by BIWAN:

BIWAN reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event in the event of force majeure, insufficient attendance, or the unavailability of a speaker.

In that case, participants will receive a full refund.

6. Access to events

Participants must arrive at the specified time.

Some workshops may have age restrictions (e.g., children’s workshops / parent-child workshops).

7. Liability

Participation in the workshops requires compliance with the instructions given by the facilitators.

BIWAN shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from misuse of the equipment or failure to follow safety instructions.

8. Personal Information

The information collected during the registration process is necessary for managing registrations and for event-related communications.

They are processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

9. Right of publicity

Unless participants expressly object prior to the event, they authorize BIWAN to use images taken during the workshops for communication purposes (social media, press, website).

10. Intellectual Property

The content, recipes, materials, and documents provided during the workshops remain the property of the presenters or BIWAN. Any reproduction or distribution is prohibited without authorization.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts.
