This sencha is produced in Shizuoka using a rare crossbreed of tea called Shizuka 7132, whose particularity is that it is rich in coumarin, the substance that gives sakura leaves their characteristic fragrance. It's a rare tea prized by connoisseurs. Honme Asakichi Shoten dries the leaves of this tea at low temperatures to preserve their mild aroma and fine texture. It can be reinfused several times to take full advantage of its flavors.

Founded in 1868 in Shizuoka, Homme Asakichi Shoten specializes in the production of exceptional Japanese green teas, including sencha, matcha and other refined varieties. With know-how handed down through several generations, the company combines tradition and expertise to offer teas with authentic, delicate flavours.
For one cup: Infuse 6g (2 teaspoons) of sencha in 210ml of water at 70℃ for 70sec.
Store airtight, away from light, heat and moisture. After opening, use up quickly.
