Black garlic cloves with a mild taste, both sweet and fruity, and a tender texture. They are obtained by maturing garlic cloves of the Katekishu variety, grown in southern Japan. Each clove is hand-calibrated by experts to guarantee optimum quality.
The garlic cloves are fermented for 2 weeks without the use of additives to rid them of their strong, pungent taste while retaining their nutritional benefits, notably their high antioxidant and amino acid content.
Very versatile, black garlic is ideal for adding a sweet touch to your dishes. Whether as a seasoning in sauces, soups and stews, or with grilled meats or as an aperitif.
