It is prepared using traditional methods to retain all the flavor and texture of kombu seaweed, and can be used to prepare miso soup, dashi, vegetable stew and much more. The thin, even slices make preparation easy and guarantee rapid rehydration. Premium kombu seaweed is hand-harvested on the coast of Hokkaido in northern Japan. Each pack is sealed to preserve the freshness of the dried kombu seaweed and preserve its unique umami flavor.
