The Tokushima Prefectural Federation of Fishing Cooperatives (JF Tokushima Gyoren) is an umbrella organization for the region's coastal fishing cooperatives. Founded on October 14, 1949, it supports the production and development of fishing communities while ensuring the sustainable management of local marine resources. Tokushima benefits from a rich sea, a source of high-quality marine products, notably wakame and nori. In the face of modern challenges, such as an aging fishing population and fluctuating fish prices, the organization works to maintain the economic stability of fishermen and develop marine products for a wide audience.

Wakame seaweed

Very good quality seaweed. Take care not to be too heavy-handed, however, as it takes on quite a bit of volume once rehydrated.
