Originally from Japan, the yuzu is a cross between the mandarin orange and the lemon. With its thick, bumpy skin, it resembles a small grapefruit. Green at the start of the season, it finishes orange-yellow. It's a precious and unique citrus fruit, offering a multitude of fragrances and flavors. The fruit can be left to mature on the tree, its zest evolving over time into new flavors. This marmalade offers notes of tangerine, grapefruit and lime, with a slight acidity and plenty of freshness. The yuzu peel is candied for added pleasure. Enjoy on fresh bread, with fromage frais or as a condiment to accompany cheese platters and savoury dishes.

More details on this product

Located in the south of France, in the heart of the Var countryside, Lemon Story is a family-run business dedicated for over ten years to growing rare citrus fruits (including yuzu, caviar lemon, combawa, Buddha's hand...), which are reinvented in a range of products made using traditional, mastered know-how from picking to potting. The products are prepared in a specially-built workshop right in the heart of the plantation, to guarantee the freshness of the citrus fruit. Made using the confisage process, their jams offer a genuine discovery of the plantation's citrus fruits and their subtleties, between freshness and gourmandise.

Store away from light, heat and moisture.

Yuzu, sugar and pectin if necessary. Prepared with a minimum of 58g of fruit per 100g.
