They are carefully harvested from Seki-Yama cherry trees in the mountains of Kanagawa, then preserved in brine to retain their beauty and freshness. Once rinsed, they are the perfect accompaniment to light soups, traditional sweets such as mochi, or sakura gohan (sakura rice).
