Made with Japanese medlar leaves harvested in Kagoshima Prefecture, this infusion (naturally free of theine and caffeine) is produced using a patented manufacturing process that involves removing impurities from the leaves before sun-drying them, then roasting them with tourmaline. This process was awarded a prize in 2009 by the president of the Kagoshima Innovation Association. This allows the leaves to retain their polyphenols, making this infusion a particularly healthy beverage. It offers natural antioxidant benefits and features a mild, roasted flavor that can be enjoyed hot or cold at any time of day.
