Japanese medlar leaf infusion Biwacha 7 tea bags ⋅ Totsukawa Farm ⋅ 14g
ねじめびわ茶
Vendor : Totsukawa Farm
⋅ Rich in antioxidants
⋅ Slightly bitter, with no astringency
⋅ Contains no theine or caffeine
⋅ Can be enjoyed hot or cold
Made with Japanese medlar leaves harvested in Kagoshima prefecture, this infusion (naturally caffeine- and theine-free), is obtained by following a patented manufacturing process that removes impurities from the leaves before drying them in the sun, then roasting them with tourmaline. This process was awarded a prize in 2009 by the President of the Kagoshima Innovations Association. This allows the leaves to preserve their polyphenols, making this infusion a particularly healthy beverage. It has a natural antioxidant effect and a sweet, roasted taste that can be enjoyed hot or cold at any time of day.
