Kaishindo is a traditional Japanese confectionery, founded in the XVIIᵉ century, specializing in the manufacture of yokan, a sweet jelly made from red azuki beans. Located in Owase, Mie prefecture, it is renowned for its craftsmanship and quality products.
Among its creations, Kaishindo offers yokan assortments in a variety of flavors, including kuromitsubrown sugar sirup muscovado), sesame, walnut, matcha, salt and natural. These sweets are ideal for discovering the richness of Japanese flavors, or for giving as gifts.
Yokan is a wagashi, a traditional Japanese pastry, appreciated for its dense texture and sweet taste. It is often eaten with green tea, bringing a pleasant lightness to the whole.
