Black garlic shio koji ⋅ Kaori no kuroninniku ⋅ 100g

• Seasoning combining shio koji and Kagoshima black garlic

• Rich in antioxidants
• Adds rounded, sweet notes to dishes.
• Ideal in salad dressings with olive or sesame oil.

A versatile seasoning combining the aromatic richness of shio koji with the umami sweetness of Kagoshima black garlic. Produced through slow, heat-based maturation, black garlic loses its pungent taste to offer a tender, sweet flesh, rich in antioxidants and essential amino acids. Reduced to a paste and mixed with shio koji, it adds rounded, sweet notes to dishes and can also be used as an alternative to salt. Simply marinate meat for 30 minutes with this black garlic shio koji to achieve a tender, juicy texture. When mixed with olive oil or sesame oil, it makes a great vinaigrette. It can also be mixed with cream cheese or miso to create a spread for toast or a dip for vegetables.
