•Delicate, floral notes. •Enjoy hot, cold, neat, on the rocks, or mixed.
A traditional barley shochu with a delicate, floral taste, made in Miyazaki using a traditional technique that has been passed down from generation to generation for over a century. It is made from barley fermented in large earthenware jars with koji cultivated in wooden vats. The shochu is then slowly aged for three years in a clay warehouse.
This production method gives it a unique taste and texture that can be enjoyed hot or cold, on the rocks or diluted with water. Founded in 1892, the distillery is the last in Miyazaki to perpetuate this expertise and has received several gold medals at Japanese national spirits competitions.
