Exceptional noodles, made from a unique blend of 16 grains and Japanese wheat. They are made using exclusively local Japanese ingredients. The noodles are hand-stretched using the traditional Shimabara method. This gives them a smooth texture and a delicate mouthfeel. Based in Unzen, on the Shimabara Peninsula, the company has specialized in the production of handmade noodles since its foundation. Using traditional manufacturing methods, each noodle is carefully crafted, producing up to 260,000 kg of noodles a year. The two-day manufacturing process guarantees noodles with an authentic taste and a firm, smooth texture.
Cook 100g noodles in 800ml boiling water for 2 minutes, stirring gently. Rinse in cold water to remove the starch. You can eat them cold, with a men-tsuyu sauce, or hot in a broth.
Store away from light, heat and moisture.
