Natural, additive-free smoked and dried katsuobushi filaments with a light texture and intensely umami taste. They are made exclusively with wild bonito from responsibly certified fisheries. The bonito are then cut with knives, cooked, smoked and finally hot-dried with wood shavings, with no additives or coloring added. Filament katsuobushi is ideal as a garnish to add umami and depth to your dishes, Japanese or otherwise. It can be sprinkled like furikake on your rice, in your salads or poke-bowl. You can also sprinkle it on hot dishes such as Okonomiyaki, takoyaki, pizzas or quiches.
