It's very easy to do, but you need to adopt the right movements. Before using for the first time, soak the whisk for about two minutes in a small bowl or glass of lukewarm water, to gently loosen the stems. How to make matcha tea froth? To obtain a creamy froth, hold your bowl, glass or mug in one hand and whisk the matcha + water mixture with the other. The gesture should be energetic and in the shape of an "M". The stems of your whisk should only graze the bottom and rims of the mug, not smash against them. After twenty seconds or so, a small froth will appear. Now it's ready!
Care: This small, handcrafted whisk can be cleaned simply by rinsing it in cold water, without the need to add cleaning products. Once washed, leave to dry in an upright position, with the stems facing upwards, or lying on its stand in a dry, well-ventilated place.
Drying: To avoid mold formation (and to preserve the taste of your drink), it's crucial not to put it back in its case. The recycled and recyclable cardboard box in which it is delivered serves only to protect the whisk during transport. After a certain number of uses (around 300 on average), some strands may start to become brittle. It's time to renew your purchase with a brand-new whisk.
