Naturally rich in fiber and gluten-free, this product stands out for its slightly sweet taste and crunchy texture. This makes it ideal for a wide range of uses, from confectionery to salads and granola. Simply add a few grains of puffed rice to add a sophisticated touch to even the simplest desserts. Awarded a prize at the Five Stars Hyogo competition, this puffed rice is produced without fertilizers or pesticides, under the JAS label (equivalent to bio in France) on the Toyooka plateaux in Hyogo prefecture. This area has been classified as a wetland under the 1971 Ramsar Convention. Once harvested, the rice is soaked in water, steamed and then toasted with hot air without any additional additives, making it a healthy food.
