Made from nanko ume plums
⋅ Sweet, addictive flavor
⋅ Long maceration in Awamori, an Okinawa rice alcohol and crystal sugar
⋅ Perfect neat or in cocktails

Discover this unique plum liqueur that marries the richness of ripe Nanko plums with the depth of Awamori, Okinawa's famous spirit. This umeshu is distinguished by its beautiful pale pink color, achieved through the use of the rare Sumomo plum, a variety that turns an intense red when ripe. Produced in the Minabe region of Wakayama, the first area to be recognized under the "Kishu Minabe Umeshu Special Zone" label, this umeshu is made with particular care: only very ripe plums are used, revealing the full complexity of their aromas. Long maceration in awamori and crystal sugar gives this liqueur a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity and freshness.
