Founded in 1935 in Yokohama, Choshiya has preserved the tradition of Japanese sweets while developing new technologies. Its specialty lies in producing wagashi (Japanese pastries), with a particular focus on carefully selected ingredients, such as azuki beans grown in the Tokachi region and seaweed used to make agar-agar.
