An ideal steam tray for steaming, compatible with the Kakomi donabe. It can also be used with pans and saucepans measuring 19 cm or more. The tray elevates food for gentle, healthy, even cooking, while its raised rim holds food in place.
Designed for steaming vegetables and delicate fish, it can also be used to cook gyozas, eggs, reheat rice or prepare delicate desserts such as flan or pudding.

Do not use in microwave. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool. To prevent rusting, wash and dry immediately after use. Keep away from other metals. Use with enamel or ceramic saucepans from the KAKOMI collection. Do not heat without water. Do not touch the product with bare hands when heated or after heating. When using the steam plate with a KAKOMI ceramic saucepan, take care as the feet of the steam plate can leave metallic marks if they rub hard against the saucepan.
