This steamer tray is designed for gentle, even cooking, perfect for preserving the texture and flavor of food. Compatible with Kakomi donabe, it can also be used as a steamer basket in a nabe or in a frying pan or saucepan 19 cm or larger. Its raised rim keeps food in place and ensures even cooking. Ideal for steaming vegetables, delicate fish, gyoza, or eggs. It can also be used to reheat rice, prepare desserts such as flan or pudding, or steam food directly in your nabe while simmering meals. To prevent rust, wash and dry immediately after use and store away from other metals. Use with an enamel or ceramic pot from the Kakomi collection. Do not heat without water. Do not touch the product with bare hands when it is hot. The metal feet may leave marks on Kakomi ceramic pots if rubbed against them. These marks can be removed with a melamine sponge.
