Very good!

This is a takuan marinated in nukazuke, i.e. rice bran brine and salt only. Not sweet and sour like other takuan, but particularly salty, more for connoisseurs. However, the taste is more authentic and full-bodied, a simple, quality product. Excellent with other tsukemono.

Surprising

A big fan of Daikon, I was a little disappointed with this one.
It's very salty, and I didn't really taste the bell pepper in the marinade.
Not much appreciated as a simple accompaniment, probably more suited to futomaki or gimbap-type recipes.
