More details on this product

Located in Sanuki, in the Kagawa prefecture, Kuriya's roots go back to the 19th-century maritime trade, before it began selling rice in 1882. Renowned for its commitment to producers and the quality of Japanese rice, the company's philosophy is based on human bonds, gratitude to nature and the transmission of the emotion that good rice brings. Today, it combines tradition and innovation to offer, through its retail and wholesale business, rice selected with rigor and passion.

150g rice for 2 people: hand-wash the rice 3 times with water, then rinse until the water runs clear. Place the rice in a saucepan, add 200ml water and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Cover the pan and heat over medium heat until boiling. Lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes without removing the lid. Turn off the heat and leave to stand for a further 10 minutes, still with the lid on. Gently stir the rice before serving.

Store away from light, heat and moisture.
