⋅ Made with Haenuki rice
⋅ Yamagata
⋅ Profile: semi-
⋅ Dry with umami and floral notes
⋅ Ideal with white fish sashimi or tempura
⋅ A Honjozo sake
A Honjozo sake with a fresh, fruity profile and a dry finish. It is made exclusively from Yamagata Haenuki rice, grown in the village of Oe-machi. This sake was created as a tribute to the television series Oshin, which takes place in Yamagata and in which the eponymous heroine embodies resilience and success through hard work. The village of Oe is also a nod to the series, as it is where the story begins. Dominated by Mount Gassan, which rises to 1,980 m, and irrigated by the pure waters of the Sagae River, Yamagata Prefecture offers ideal conditions for rice cultivation. Its climate, characterized by wide temperature variations, allows the rice to ferment slowly throughout the winter, bringing out the natural umami of the grains. Oshin no Sato sake can be enjoyed either chilled or at room temperature. It is ideal with delicate dishes such as sashimi, grilled white fish, or vegetables.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, please drink responsibly. Alcohol can only be ordered by adults, in accordance with the legislation in force in your country.
