Yuzu Gin and Tonic Recipe (ultra fresh and fragrant)

A gin and tonic with a twist of yuzu, which is lemony, floral, and slightly exotic. Very easy to prepare, it is perfect as an aperitif and makes a refreshing change from a classic gin and tonic.

Ingredients

  • 5 cl gin (dry or floral)
  • 10 to 12 ounces of well-chilled tonic water
  • 1 to 2 cl of yuzu juice (or 1 teaspoon of yuzu concentrate)
  • Ice cubes (lots)
  • 1 lemon or yuzu zest
  • Optional: 1 thin slice of lemon

Directions

  1. Fill a large glass (balloon or highball type) with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the gin, then the yuzu juice.
  3. Top up with chilled tonic water.
  4. Mix very gently once (to keep the bubbles).
  5. Add the zest and toppings of your choice.
