Lighter, fresher and more floral than its classic counterpart, Takyo Hachio gin was born of the desire to create a Tokyo Dry Gin in Hachioji, near Tokyo, comparable to London Dry Gin, this gin goes back to basics to set a new standard. Whereas today's Japanese gins use a base of shochu or regional botanicals, Tôkŷo Hachio uses a base of neutral corn liqueur, giving the gin a sweet, delicate taste that envelops the aroma of its botanicals. This version uses more elderflower and contains less alcohol, giving it a sweet, floral taste that all gin lovers will appreciate. It's ideal for summer cocktails like Bee's Knees, or as a Gin Tonic. Reputed to be one of the world's top 4 spirits, gin was originally intended as a medicinal spirit. The Tokyo Hachio bottle is a direct reference to this, while its octagonal label is a tribute to the kanji of the number 8, the character ""八"", ""Hachi"", which is both a sign of good fortune and a nod to Hachioji, where gin is made.

Located in Hachiōji, in western Tokyo, Tokyo Hachio Gin is a distillery founded by a passionate trombonist, Mr. Nakazawa, with the ambition of creating a Tokyo gin worthy of London Dry standards. Nurtured by a musical vision of taste, Vendor creates deep, harmonious gins inspired by the balance of an orchestra. Each creation marries classic botanicals with Japanese ingredients such as ume, hinoki or shiso, to offer singular expressions of Japanese terroir.
Keep away from light and heat. After opening: Store in a cool place, tightly closed. Consume quickly.
