This mild-tasting, thick-textured sake is made by coarsely filtering moromi, which gives it its cloudy appearance. Nugudamaru means "to warm up" in the Akita dialect. It can be enjoyed chilled, to bring out its sweet notes, or warm, for a comforting experience. This sake is ideal as a digestif, pairing perfectly with desserts such as cheesecake, traditional Japanese pastries, or creamy cheeses such as Brillat-Savarin, Brie de Meaux or Saint-Siméon.
