Sake Kisaki white 50 junmai daiginjo genshu ⋅ 15% ⋅ 720ml
后ホワイト50 純米大吟醸原酒
Vendor : Yoshinotomo shuzo
⋅ Polished to 50%
⋅ Excellent alternative to white wine
⋅ Perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood
⋅ Enjoy cold or hot.
This sake is crafted with notes of stewed apple, caramel and hazelnut, and is made using the same method as Kisaki Blanc 65, but with a higher polish and more pronounced acidity. It can be enjoyed both hot and cold, offering a versatile experience. Produced by the Koshino Megumi brewery in Toyama, the sake uses Yamada Nishiki rice, grown and polished on their own estate, a painstaking process that gives it exceptional purity and finesse.
This sake is part of the "Kisaki" (后) series, a range that reflects the brewery's commitment to producing exceptional sake with traditional methods and absolute production control. The "Kisaki Blanc 50" has a 50% polish and is particularly acidic with a nice liveliness, making it an excellent choice to accompany fish dishes.
Although made with the same Yamada Nishiki rice and the same polish rate as "Kisaki Noir 50", it offers a completely different taste experience, with a more pronounced acidity, similar to that of a fresh white wine. This sake is a true work of passion, the fruit of the labor of the region's farmers, who seek to preserve the quality of the rice throughout its production.

More details on this product
Founded in 1877 in Toyama, Yoshinotomo Shuzō embodies the essence of pure sake. A pioneer of pure rice juice, it has been devoted exclusively to the production of 100% pure rice sake since the 1980s. Its spring water, drawn from 50 meters underground and filtered by the Tateyama mountains, sublimates every drop. Yoshinotomo celebrates the pleasure of sharing sake with friends. Its ambition? To offer a well-balanced beverage that tastes just as good hot as it does chilled, accompanying a wide range of dishes without ever tiring the palate.
Committed to tradition and excellence, the house favors local rice varieties such as Yamada Nishiki and Gohyakumangoku, carefully cut to reveal subtle aromas and unique depth.
