Immerse yourself in an ancient Japanese ritual with this introduction to the tea ceremony, or Sado.

Led by representatives from the Urasenke "Kinoto no kai" association, who have come specially from Japan, this workshop invites you to discover much more than just a simple tasting: a true cultural experience centered around tea, its rituals, and its spirit of hospitality!
During this session, you will learn the fundamentals of the tea ceremony: how to prepare and taste matcha, the symbolism of the gestures, and the importance of presentation.

This experience will be accompanied by a tasting of traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi), specially made for the occasion by Hiro Fukamachi, pastry chef at the Yen restaurant. You will be able to discover warabi mochi, a rare specialty made from root starch, with a delicately melting texture, filled with red bean paste.
