Shiso Sparkle is a sparkling and refined mocktail, perfect for parties or an elegant aperitif. The infusion of red shiso brings herbaceous and slightly minty notes, enhanced by the tangy freshness of yuzu juice and the subtle sweetness of agave syrup. Mixed with sparkling water or ginger beer, this non-alcoholic cocktail surprises with its balance of freshness, sweetness, and effervescence. Easy to prepare, it will add an original and festive touch to your meals and will delight your guests with its colorful appearance and elegant presentation, garnished with a shiso leaf, lemon zest, or pink peppercorns.

Ingredients
- 60 ml of cold red shiso infusion
- - 30 ml yuzu juice
- - 15 ml agave syrup
- - Sparkling water or ginger beer to top up
- - A few ice cubes
- - Garnish: shiso leaf, lemon zest, or crushed pink peppercorns
Instructions
Prepare the shiso infusion: steep 3–4 leaves in 150 ml of hot water for 5 minutes, then leave to cool completely.
In a shaker (or large glass), mix the infusion, yuzu juice, and agave syrup.
Add ice cubes and shake vigorously.
Pour into a cocktail glass filled with ice.
Add sparkling water or ginger beer.
Garnish with a shiso leaf or lemon zest.

Perfect infusion: allow the shiso infusion to cool completely to avoid diluting the cocktail with ice.
Sparkling variation: use ginger beer for a slightly spicy version, or sparkling water for a lighter drink.
Customization: Add a few crushed pink peppercorns for a slightly peppery taste and a refined look.
Preparation in advance: you can prepare the infusion and the yuzu juice + agave syrup mixture in advance, and assemble the mocktail just before serving for a guaranteed fresh effect.
Festive presentation: serve in an elegant glass and add a twist of lemon or a small fruit skewer for a spectacular visual effect.
