Matcha French toast is a refined and deliciously fragrant version of classic French toast. 200 ml milk (or plant-based milk)

2 teaspoons of matcha powder

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cooking butter

Powdered sugar or maple syrup for serving
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and matcha powder until smooth.
Dip the bread slices in the matcha mixture, allowing them to soak for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
Melt a knob of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the bread slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
Serve warm, sprinkled with powdered sugar or drizzled with maple syrup.
