Ingredients
- Soba: 400 g
- Beef: 320 g
- Shiitake: 4 to 5
- Leeks: 2
- Burdock root (gobō): 1/2
- Sukiyaki sauce: 500 ml
- Water: 500 ml
- Chives (or green onions): to taste
- Red pepper filaments: to taste
Directions
- Cut the shiitake mushrooms, leeks, burdock and beef into bite-size pieces.
- In a large saucepan, pour the sukiyaki sauce and water, then adjust the taste to suit your preference.
- Add the shiitake mushrooms, burdock and beef, then bring to the boil, stir in the leeks and simmer until tender.
